Follow the story of the 911 GT3 R Hybrid at the Nürburgring 24 Hours this year. Driven by Joerg Bergmeister, Richard Lietz, Marco Holzer and Patrick Long, it was leading the race around four hours into the race, but suffered a broken flange in its differential which then cost it six laps. This problem struck again after seven hours, with repairs then taking 40 minutes - and then on Sunday morning the car was hit at high speed. Despite all this, the Hybrid often clocked faster lap times than the leading cars, and finished in 28th place, 17 laps behind its winning Manthey team-mate.
